NuShape began in 2015, when founder Jessica Charles was working hands-on with red light therapy in her Santa Barbara wellness practice. At the time, many of the systems available were underpowered, impractical, or designed almost entirely for professional treatment rooms.
So she started developing something better.
Jessica went on to create one of the early professional red light panel systems on the market. She then sold nearly everything she had to fund her next idea, and went on to develop the very first wearable red light therapy device.
That innovation became NuShape.
